Our End-of-Life Care, often a combination of Homemaker Companionship and Personal Care services, provides physical and emotional support for individuals during their final stages of life. Throughout this difficult time, the work of our caregivers enables family members to spend quality time with their loved one, knowing that all other aspects of their care are taken care of.
While our program does not include hospice care, our caregivers often work alongside and support the hospice team with the following services:
- Minimizing pain and other symptoms
- Assisting with personal tasks such as dressing, bathing, and daily hygiene
- Alleviating feelings of loneliness, stress, and anxiety
At the same time, we make sure that family and friend caregivers get the Respite Care they need. We perform tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, shopping, and running errands. Our caregivers provide an anchor that family caregivers can count on when they feel overwhelmed, offering emotional support or a helping hand whenever needed.
End-of-life care services are available daily, weekly, live out or live in, or however often is requested.
